Sleep disordered breathing is all too common, but can severely interfere with the restfulness of your sleep.
Some people are dealt a narrow airway (and foodway) that can make sleep apnea more likely. Tongue, face, and mouth exercises can help out.

Figure 1 shows how to test anterior and posterior tongue mobility. Without tongue mobility, the tongue sits back, occludes the airway, and increases force of inspiration.
